We hope you are all enjoying the Harford 250 celebration so far! As promised, We wanted to share some photos from the recent showcase event that kicked off this year-long celebration.
The Harford 250 kickoff event was actually held at the APGFCU Arena in Bel Air on March 30th, 2023. The arena was filled with excitement as attendees from all over Harford County gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion.
The event was kicked off with an assembly of various community groups, historical organizations, and local businesses. The assembly was followed by an opening ceremony featuring speeches from County Executive Barry Glassman, County Council President Patrick Vincenti, and Maryland State Senator J.B. Jennings, among others.
Throughout the event, attendees were able to enjoy a variety of activities, including historical displays, live music performances, and interactive exhibits. Food vendors from all over the county provided a wide variety of tasty treats and beverages for visitors to enjoy.
One of the highlights of the event was the historical reenactments, which brought to life important events from Harford County’s past. Attendees were able to witness firsthand the struggles and triumphs of our county’s early settlers, as well as the bravery of those who fought in the Revolutionary War and other conflicts.
The event was a huge success, and a great way to kick off this year-long celebration of Harford County’s rich history and culture.
